About “Lesosibirsky LDK No.1”

Lesosibirskiy LDK No.1 is a big complex for processing of wood. It consists of timber enterprises, saw-mills, works for manufacture of fiberboards and furniture, and also for making thermal energy.

The history of the enterprise development

  • In December 1976, to start the sawing shop, thermoelectric power station No.1 was put to work, which worked on waste products of sawing.
  • 30 of December 1968 the first log was sawn up at the complex. The next day Novomaklakovsky LDK No.1 started working.
  • In 1969 the complex started selling its production on the foreign market: consumers received the first lot of timber.
  • In 1973 a fiberboards factory was set in operation. This was a way to turn to complex utilization of sawing waste products. The fiber boards works needed increased volume of thermal energy, so that year thermoelectric power station No.2 was put into work.
  • 14 August 1978 Novomaklakovsky complex was renamed into Lesosibirsky LDK No.1.
  • In 1975 the settlements, where workers of timber industry complex lived, were combined and became Lesosibirsk city.
  • In 1976 foreign customers received the millionth cubic meter of lumber.
  • Since 1993 a furniture factory works at the enterprise, which puts out a broad assortment of ecologically pure furniture made of Angara pine.
  • Since 1995 the industrial complex harvests log timber by own strength. For that in the course of ten years was created a network of logging branches. Now the complex harvests considerable proportion of timber on its own.
